Building Sustainable livelihoods.

CABDA focuses on ensuring ownership and sustainability across all its programs by addressing the root cause of economic insecurity and enhancing the capacity of local community structures. This approach aims to create resilient households capable of meeting their own basic needs, directly reinforcing Health and Well-being pillar (SDG 3) and enhancing community-driven development. This is achieved through establishment of Community Structures including groups and committees serving as platforms for collective action and mutual support to enhance sustainability and ownership.

The structures are Capacity Build on essential skills needed for group governance, financial management, and business development. Groups are provided with access to capital which they use to invest in income-generating activities leading to wealth and job creation within communities. Through this pillar, Health and Well-being is reinforced by improving the overall household livelihood and financial stability enabling families to consistently meet their basic needs.
