CABDA prides in Establishing and Capacity Building Community Structures by focusing on building up their capacity to enhance continuity of its programs. The groups and structures are encouraged to register as formal legal entities such as Self-Help groups, women groups, CBOs, faith-based organizations, or local NGOs and taken through a Comprehensive Institutional Strengthening. This makes the local structures robust and competent to take up roles and participate in implementation, monitoring & evaluation and giving feedback to enhance sustainability and continuity long after projects ends.
The organization through established structures build social capital and empower communities, allowing them to take lead in Local Resource Mobilization for their projects. This is accomplished through coordinated efforts with local leaders, effectively enabling communities to generate or secure their own funds and reduce their reliance on external aid.
