CABDA seeks to foster SDG 13 that aims to take urgent action in combating climate change and its impact.

As a need to conserve the environment, CABDA advocates for environmental conservation through participatory approaches in involving communities especially the marginalized and vulnerable populations. Multispectral approach is key in linking with potential funders and stakeholders in climate financing to ensure sustainability of interventions towards mitigating climate change. The organization factors capacity-build and awareness creation to caregivers and communities on some of the best practices to realize a friendly and conducive ecosystem to live in. The pillar aims at equipping caregivers, youth and communities with skills and knowledge to enable them navigate through the ecosystem with transformative measures to improve living standards and reduce suffering from health complications caused by pollution and consumption of artificially produced foods and further conserve the environment. Through the pillar, CABDA aims to Restore, maintain or improve ecosystem that generates societal benefits in the context of climate change adaptation.
