Enhanced Primary Health Care, access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene.

The organization provides fundamental infrastructure and promotes hygiene best practices to reduce the incidence of waterborne diseases, directly addressing SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and aligning with government policies through Integrating Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) for Disease Prevention. The focus is on water provision by ensuring communities and households have access to clean and safe water, improve Sanitation Infrastructure through addressing limited access to appropriate sanitation facilities in schools and households. This also involves Hygiene Promotion by enhancing Behavioral Change communication at all levels including household, schools and in communities. Communities are empowered to ensure ownership and long-term viability of the WASH facilities.

CABDA also focuses on implementing Community-Led Health System Strengthening that center on improving overall health outcomes and safeguarding vulnerable families against catastrophic medical costs, aligning with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Universal Health Coverage (UHC) goals. This is achieved through capacity building level 1 health system to enhance service delivery, promoting advocacy and linkages on Social Protection and UHC that focus on Protecting vulnerable households from financial hardship due to illness. The organization also seeks to promote Integrated Care by Providing holistic support to the most impacted individuals and families including affected and infected children, youth, women and their families on health issues while also ensuring their basic needs (food, shelter,shelter, education etc.) are met.
