CABDA seeks to provide capacity build for existing and upcoming grassroots civil society organizations

including CBOs, self-help groups, women groups and Faith based organizations to realize their potential and grow in their vision and mission.

Organizations are mapped and identified for capacity assessment to understand their strength and weaknesses there after taken through a system strengthening basing on the gaps identified. The trainings is a participatory process that aims at facilitating the understanding and change in organisations, and aligning internal systems and structures for sustainability and development. Mentorship visits are conducted to follow up on action plans.

The pillar also focus on strengthening systems, procedures, mentorship and coaching focusing on young directors who have established their organizations and enterprises. The organization also considers linkages and partnerships with institutions such universities in empowering and upgrading young women in the society. CABDA considers creation of membership networks of civil society organizations in areas of its project interventions for the purpose of advocacy, community engagements, capacity building and for visibility and branding.
