Diversification of resources is at the heart of implementation of this pillar with the shrinking donor funding and the journey towards self-reliance. The pillar seeks to increase the knowledge and skills of CABDA’s personnel in resource mobilization and make use of the available resources to generate funds. The organization capitalises on its strong relationship with existing and former donor partners, volunteers as well as its good work in the community, partnership with other organizations, networks, county and national government in lobbying for domestic resource mobilization.

Social media platforms such as website forms an active platform for fundraise through displaying of different success and prompt interested parties to donate towards supporting the mission and vision of CABDA .This will also involve utilizing of available opportunities in research and innovation to apply for innovative challenge funds and call for proposals. CABDA considers submitting joint proposals with potential partners to interested donors, joining consortiums, engaging individual funders, partnerships with foundations and private sectors in order to achieve its goals and objectives.
